Style to Admire: Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger has a name and a face I definitely know; yet, I couldn't tell you one movie she's been in or one project she's been a part of up until Inglorious Bastards. However, I do know her style and I'm a fan. Whether she's at a party, a premiere or on the late night circuit this German girl is always showing off some serious style. When dressing up she chooses frocks that are consistently unique and generally pretty ornate and when she's not on the red carpet she frequently gravitates towards an androgynous look (a beautiful girl in a boy's outfit always screams effortlessly chic to me).

A Woman on Top of the World
Although not usually the biggest Claire Danes fan, these photos from BlackBook caught my attention. Not only does Claire look stunning but she manages to make the no-pants-look look more high fashion and less Gaga trash. Job well done.

Rerun
Ok, my obsessions with Dree Hemingway and her adorable flair and eccentric wardrobe is abundantly clear, but how could I pass up showing you this wild spread, in which she stars, in W magazine? The editorial recalls summer days in the 90's, grunging it up while camping with a few oh-so-cool friends. If only real camping looked this glamorous.

Natural Beauty
I'm loving this editorial in September's Elle UK. The model is Martina with NY Models and the shots are so simply gorgeous. The color scheme is pale and light, the mood is passive yet intriguing, the clothes are Gothic and full of velvets and silk. Interestingly enough, the softness of the model and the lighting is, at times, contradicted by heavy props like a gigantic rope and a sturdy axe.

Karlie Kloss
I just watched a live streaming of the red carpet premiere of The September Issue via the movie's Facebook page. Everyone there looked amazing as Ms. Wintour stood out in a printed Prada dress, Oscar de la Renta looked oh-so-suave in a cream suit and A-Listers like Melania Trump, Chanel Iman and Sienna Miller sparkles. But the most gorgeous face on the red carpet, in my opinion, was supermodel Karlie Kloss who accompanied designer Jason Wu to the event. Karlie wore a purple and red dress that was strapless and showed off plenty of lovely skin. Her hair was pulled back into a no-fuss low ponytail and her makeup was simple but breathtaking. Hopefully, pictures from the evening will surface soon but to tide you over here is Karlie in her latest campaigns!

Street Style, Sesame Stree That Is
This concept just seems so random to me: give the best designers in the game a passport to Sesame Street and showcase them smiling and happy surrounded by a model in their creation and a puppet. Why? No, really why? Ok, so apparently it's Sesame Street's 40th anniversary. But still, how does this come into play in the fashion industry? Sure, it's cute and nostalgic to see these life size puppets once again but I don't think that's enough to make this a noteworthy editorial.

Trends of the Season
Shopbop.com recently displayed its favorite trends for fall and here they are. They're pretty clear cut and most are being echoed on other fashion sites, but the pictures are well shot and dynamic plus all of the clothes are available in one place which is rather convenient.
Velvet:
I always hated the feeling of velvet on my skin. Plus, it reminds me of Christmas parties with estranged family members.
The Wanderer:
Rocker:
I'll always dig this, I don't care if I live in the suburbs.
Wartime:
Wtf. But cute coat.
Cutouts:
80's:
